SUMMARY:  The Senior IT Application Administrator, Enterprise Solutions is responsible for the administration, configuration, development, and support of Worldwide systems, including but not limited to Trackwise, Biovia, IBM CLM, and Worldwide’s upcoming launch of our new Quality Assurance/Quality Management System. Implements and manages system workflows and processes, working closely with end users up to leadership to provide Enterprise Solutions as a service.  Responsible for maintaining and configuring systems features and managing patches and upgrades in a validated environment, when applicable.  Monitors end-user usage of systems and. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to critical business applications including software validation activities.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tasks may include but are not limited to:

  • Drives the evaluation, development, and implementation of workflows and projects to meet business needs.
  • Drives the production of in-house documentation around solutions.
  • Perform system configuration and functional testing ensuring it meets requirements and specifications.
  • Write and review validation scripts and user acceptance testing for new workflows and processes.
  • Provides technical expertise and training to teammates and business users.
  • Collaborates with project teams and users to resolve or escalate technical issues.
  • Estimate and plan implementation activities.
  • Keeps abreast of innovations and industry trends as well as changes to internal systems and determines how they impact tools, training, and support necessary to keep systems up, running, and secure.
  • Performs system Disaster Recovery (DR) testing as required.
  • Write, review, and update documents and guides for both IT technicians and end users.
  • Administration, configuration, development, and support of a Quality Management Tracking System

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong planning and scheduling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and changing environment.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to succeed and contribute to a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and cloud-based systems and applications.
  • Knowledge and training of GDPR, HIPPA, data privacy and security, GxPs, and FDA regulations governing validated applications including 21CFR Part 11 and ICH R2.

 
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of earned Bachelor’s degree preferably in a technical discipline or experience equivalent.
  • Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience
  • Must have experience writing reports with applications such as Crystal Reports.
  • Familiar with databases like Oracle or SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance functions and needs is a plus.
  • Experience in the pharma or CRO industry is a plus.
