The Executive Director, Sales Enablement Strategy North America at Worldwide Clinical Trials is responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision for our sales enablement initiatives. This position will drive the development and implementation of innovative sales tactics to enhance market penetration across key territories, strategic accounts, and therapeutically aligned markets. By collaborating closely with our commercial and marketing teams, the Executive Director will lead efforts to optimize our sales penetration strategies, processes, empower our commercial team with the optimizing current tools such as LinkedIn Navigator, Outreach i.o., etc. and ensure alignment with our overall business objectives to achieve sustained growth and success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tasks may include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Team Lead for SDRs to develop and implement effective sales enablement strategies that support the SDR team’s efforts.
  • Provide insights and resources to enhance their outreach techniques, campaign execution, and other sales strategies.
  • Oversee and optimize Outreach i.o. campaigns and strategies to ensure maximum effectiveness and alignment with broader sales goals.
  • Develop creative strategies to further penetrate existing accounts and uncover new opportunities including a special focus on the top 25 pharmaceutical companies.
  • Design and implement innovative approaches to deepen our market presence within key accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor messaging and strategies that resonate with target audiences.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics related to sales enablement activities, providing feedback and insights to the SDR Team Lead. Identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of SDR efforts.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with vendors and partners to develop co-hunting and pipeline-sharing strategies. Leverage these relationships to enhance lead generation efforts and expand market reach.
  • Lead the planning and execution of conference participation and other events to support lead generation.
  • Develop strategies to maximize the impact of these events on our sales pipeline. Work with the SDR Team Lead to ensure these events are aligned with sales objectives and maximize impact.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement strategies that increase our market share in the clinical trials sector. Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform and adjust sales strategies.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Proven experience in crafting and implementing sales strategies that drive market penetration and increase the volume of high-quality RFPs reaching key decision-makers.
  • Expertise in managing Outreach i.o campaigns and other sales automation tools.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • A motivator with a strong hunter mentality who will cultivate a results-driven environment.

Your experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or life sciences discipline.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to create and execute complex sales strategies.
  • Minimum of 12 years of sales experience. 
  • Prefer minimum of 2 years of experience in life sciences or similar industries.
  • Requires domestic and international travel, including overnight stays. Ability to travel approximately 10% for business needs.
