What the Information Technology Department does at Worldwide

 

The IT department is made up of seasoned professionals united in one common goal: to keep Worldwide’s technical infrastructure operating at the highest levels for our employees and our customers. We are a global team comprised of numerous professionals including cyber security, artificial intelligence, IT helpdesk, application support, and more. 

 

What you will do

 

  • Maintain and evolve existing systems, as well as improving the security of the platform. Complete application and system administration tasks, including backup & restore, testing new software releases to assure application/plugin computability after upgrade, user management, etc.
  • Work with stakeholders and subject-matter experts to understand their internal processes, requirements, and expectations, and translate them to relevant application projects. Work closely with colleagues, build trusting long-term partnerships, and ensuring high-level of stakeholder satisfaction. Training and knowledge transfer to different business and technical stakeholders on different aspects of IT projects and integrations.
  • Develop features, according to specifications, using Power Platform, Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, and any other technologies within Worldwide. Install, configure, and deploy solutions to extend capabilities of IT applications. Troubleshoot and debug solutions and provide technical support and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT colleagues to integrate application projects with different data sources and reporting tools/mechanisms, using different technologies.
  • Define and execute SDLC tasks, where necessary, including documenting and maintaining adherence to the Worldwide SDLC process.
  • Create consistent user experiences within all applications for ease of use and optimal supportability.

 

What you will bring to the role

 

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365, including: OneDrive, Planner, Power Platform (Apps, BI, Flow, Forms), SharePoint and Teams. Extensive knowledge of PowerShell and APIs including .NET CSOM, Microsoft Graph, PnP and REST/OData.
  • Experience using Application Lifecycle (DevOps) and Service Management (JIRA) tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, deadline oriented, and changing environment. Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Able to succeed and contribute within a team environment.
  • Knowledge and awareness of data privacy and security, GxP, and federal regulations governing validated applications including, 21CFR Part 11 and ICH E6 R2.

 

Your experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 3 years of experience as a SharePoint developer or similar role or high school diploma with minimum of 5 years of experience as a SharePoint developer or similar role
  • Familiar with SharePoint architecture, features, functionalities, workflows, web parts, forms, and user interfaces. Strong knowledge of applied best practices in Microsoft 365 architecture, design, and security.
  • SharePoint consulting experience or any Microsoft certifications is a plus.
  • Willingness to manage business-critical emergencies during non-business hours.
