What you will do

The Processing Laboratory Shift Lead I, along with other technicians, performs the bulk of the study procedures. He/she performs technical, laboratory and administrative procedures following Worldwide Clinical Trials (WCT) procedures and study protocol requirements. The Processing Laboratory Shift Lead I works under the direct supervision and guidance of the Assistance Supervisor, Laboratory Services and the Director, Laboratory Services.
• Processes bioanalytical samples for monitoring studies
• Assures that teammates are processing samples per protocol & WCT procedures
• Interpretation of protocols to create lab manuals
• Meticulously recording data to create & maintain study specific EDC (Electronic Data Capture)
• Centrifuging Samples

What you will bring to the role

• Strong initiative to be a driving force in the lab
• Ability to follow established Worldwide policies and GLP regulations
• Ability to read, understand, and execute detailed SOP(Standard Operating procedures) to be able to organize, schedule, and perform laboratory activities
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Effective communication skills to be able to convey findings in writing and verbally

Your background

Required: At least 3 years as a lab technician
Preferred: one year experience with a bachelors degree or experience as a lab technician, or other medical background coursework
