What Global Data Management does at Worldwide

 

Data Management is an ever growing and collaborative department. Our global team is a group of diverse individuals with wide-ranging experience within the industry. From start to finish, we are involved in clinical studies beginning with building the study database, to locking and delivering the final dataset for the project. Data Management reviews and ensures the clinical study data is of high quality for regulatory submissions.

The Data Management group is the perfect place to launch or further your career. Whether it is technical expertise, or coming from a clinical background, you’re able to hone and expand your skillset within our department. Spanning various roles from data support staff, database and SAS programmers, coders and functional leads, there is place for you!  

 

What you will do

  • Manage resourcing and utilization workflow process, including manual entry into various department systems, including spreadsheets and company resourcing tools
  • Analyze team member resourcing and utilization data for validity and reasonableness, prepare and present summaries to functional department heads and executive management as needed
  • Work with leadership in all biometrics functional teams to support the continuous development and improvement of resourcing and utilization processes 
  • Receive, record, and triage resource requests as required
  • Maintain administrative responsibility for functional resourcing meetings, including scheduling, preparation, minutes and action item follow-up
  • Support administrative areas of the biometrics department including SharePoint and OneDrive site ownership, maintaining internal email distribution lists and access to department systems, issuing internal communications, organization and documentation of biometrics department meetings, and development of tools and tracking 

 

What you will bring to the role

  • Analytical orientation, and strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of the company globally
  • Knowledge of biometrics aspects Phase I-IV clinical research and experience working with a pharmaceutical company or Contract Research Organization
  • Proven track record of administrative management
  • Proactively seeks out and recommends process improvements
  • Line management experience preferred
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment with sensitivity to decisions requiring supervisory approval
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.

 

Your experience

  • A minimum four-year college curriculum OR Two -year college curriculum or equivalent education/training appropriate relevant work experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a team environment under time and resource pressure
  • Understanding the principals of project resource allocation and utilization management
  • Experience working in a team environment under time and resource pressure
  • Proficiency in all MS-Office applications including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
