Position Title: Senior Corporate Accountant, Global Accounting

What the Senior Corporate Accountant does at Worldwide  

The Senior Corporate Accountant plays a key role in accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and audit activities across the organization and may be involved in accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls supporting a multi-jurisdiction operating model.

 

What you will do  

  • Delivering assigned responsibilities supporting a timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close process
  • Participate in global operational accounting activities, to include the delivery of effective and efficient end-to-end accounting solutions and processes
  • Accounting system/process development, implementation, and ongoing execution
  • Implementation of efficient and automated systems and processes solutions
  • Comprehensive documentation of accounting policies and procedures
  • Information and analysis to support monthly balance sheet and P&L reviews that provide insight into key business drivers that are impacting financial results

What you will bring to the role  

  • Knowledge of US GAAP accounting required
  • Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and month end accounting close required
  • Experience with international operations a plus
  • Experience with external audits a plus
  • Experience with international statutory audits a plus
  • Prior experience within CRO or pharmaceutical sectors a plus
  • Experience in a service business and working in a global organization is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced and evolving organization

 

Your experience  

  • 6+ years of global accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required, Master’s Degree in Accounting preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to research, document, and implement solutions to emerging accounting issues to include both U.S. GAAP and IFRS
  • Knowledge and experience with cloud-based ERP systems preferred
  • Must demonstrate good judgment and mature business skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including a professional and diplomatic demeanor
  • Some international travel may be required
