Position Title: PRN Research Technician 1

What you will do

• Assures samples and WCT procedures are processed per protocol
• Uses technical knowledge to determine specimen acceptability
• Responsible for inventory and packaging of lab samples for shipment
• Ensures the lab and all lab equipment is properly cleaned and calibrated
• Restocks lab supplies (pipettes, urine cups, etc.)
• Once trained, performs the following procedures according to WCT procedures and study protocol requirements:

• Blood Harvesting,
• Centrifuging,
• Running,
• Urine Monitoring,
• Fecal Collection,

 

What you will bring to the role

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Perform duties at a fast pace without errors
• Detail-oriented mindset
• Steadfast delivery on repetitive tasks
• A focus on creating effective relationships with a positive team player attitude

 

 

Your background

• High School Diploma
• Experience as a lab technician, or other medical background or course work
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, or current undergraduate student
