Position Title: Participant Experience Manager

External Description:

SUMMARY: The Participant Experience Manager is responsible for driving / maintaining a participant-centric culture and maintaining a positive participant experience at the San Antonio CRU.  Scope to include a focus on environment and interactions from throughout the participant journey with Worldwide.  Responsible for reviewing house rules, creating consistency in application, and ensuring proper communication/documentation practices are maintained. Act as a liaison between participant and staff; gather and action bi-directional feedback for continuous improvement. Develop programs and oversee the implementation of activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tasks may include but are not limited to:

  • Represent Worldwide in a professional manner (verbal, written and in appearance) when interacting with sponsors, participants, outside vendors and fellow employees, at all times
  • Act as the face of the company to participants and the face of the participants to staff
  • Responsible for requesting and scheduling space reservations with Clinical Operations
  • Act as the primary contact for participant conflict resolution
  • Act as the point of escalation for any participant disputes or compliance issues
  • Conduct meetings with participant status review board
  • Investigate participant complaints and coordinate resolution
  • Develop program activities, events, and outings
  • Coordinate participant activities and encourage participation using information and promotional materials
  • Coordinate events and act as the primary contact with external entities and organizations
  • Oversee and train support staff and volunteers working activities and events
  • Accompany participants to offsite appointments as needs
  • Select and coordinate ordering of supplies
  • Develop, track and adhere to budget
  • Perform other duties as assigned. The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.

 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Public speaking experience
  • Ability to mitigate and mediate individual and/or group disputes
  • Customer service skills and perform duties at a fast pace without errors.
  • Good documentation, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of event planning practices and techniques
  • Knowledge of marketing and promotional practices
  • Previous clinical research experience
  • Proficient computer skills

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, marketing, or business administration
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • CPR Certified
  • work independently
  • manage multiple and conflicting priorities
