Position Title: Activity Coordinator

External Description:

SUMMARYThe Activity Coordinator develops and plans activities, and events for subjects in the San Antonio CRU.   Responsible for developing programs, staffing the events and overseeing the implementation of activities. Oversee volunteers or other staff during events.



RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tasks may include but are not limited to:
 

  • Always represents Worldwide in a professional manner (verbal, written and in appearance) when interacting with sponsors, subjects, outside vendors and fellow employees.
  • Strategizing and coordinating subject activities and encouraging their participation
  • Develop program activities, events, and outings
  • Develop and distribute promotional materials for events
  • Responsible for requesting and scheduling space reservations with Sr. Manager of Clinical Operations
  • Coordinate events with external entities and organizations
  • Oversee and train support staff and volunteers working activities and events
  • Maintain and order supplies
  • Adhere to budget given on a study by study basis 
  • Acts as the primary contact for events

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Customer service skills and be able to perform duties at a fast pace without errors. 
  • Good documentation and organizational skills and good attention to detail. 
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Knowledge of event planning practices and techniques
  • Public speaking experience
  • Knowledge of marketing and promotional practices
  • Previous clinical research experience

 
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • CPR licensed and first aid training
